Ian Wyatt

ian greyIan joined BDC Venture Capital in 2006 and is a Partner in BDC's Diversified Venture Fund. Ian has 25 years of telecom and IT experience, including 7 years in venture investing. Ian held a variety of operating and strategic roles at Nortel Networks and Mitel Networks, including product management, corporate business planning, systems engineering and market development. As Director of business and network planning at Nortel, he worked with service providers worldwide to develop successful service strategies, business cases and network deployment plans for emerging opportunities. Prior to joining BDC, Ian worked at BCE Capital, the venture capital arm of Bell Canada. Ian serves on a number of BDC investee company boards as director or observer. Ian holds Electrical Engineering and MBA degrees from Queen's University in Kingston and is a registered professional engineer in Ontario.

Vijay Dube

vijay greyVijay has over 30 years of experience in mobile wireless, semiconductors, multi-media and consumer electronics. Vijay was formerly COO at Wavesat, a 4G Broadband Wireless company. He also served as VP Marketing and Business Development at Atsana, a semiconductor company developing video and imaging chipset for mobile handsets. Vijay co-founded Dipix Technologies, which was subsequently acquired by Dalsa-Coreco. He has been recently advising startup technology companies as part of his role with NRC-IRAP. Vijay holds a B.Sc. in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Jeffrey Watts

jeff greyJeff has been a recognized business leader in the North American IT industry for over 25 years. As the President of Northstar Bancorp Limited, Jeff is known for managing companies for growth. Prior to his current appointment, he held a number of high-level executive positions including CEO, President, Senior Vice President, General Manager, and Director for a wide variety of companies. These range from large brand name public companies such as SAP AG, 3Com Corporation and Xerox Canada Limited to small successful private technology startups such as Texar Corporation, and Quack.com Inc. Over the span of his career he has successfully rebuilt and restructured companies, planned and implemented go-to-market strategies, and managed business development and sales operations across North America. A Computer Science graduate from the University of Toronto, Jeff is also a graduate of Queen's University School of Business and Marshall School of Business at USC in Los Angeles, CA. Jeff actively serves on a number of boards and holds senior office positions in several investee companies.

Dana Neustadter

dana greyDana has over 15 years of diversified experience in the areas of security IP, semiconductor and EDA. She joined Elliptic in 2003 and in her current role as Director of Product Management, Dana is responsible for establishing the strategic product vision and for managing the IP portfolio and marketing activities. Prior to joining Elliptic, Dana held various leadership and engineering roles, being involved with all aspects of ASIC/FPGA product definition, architecture and execution cycles. At Mitel Semiconductor, Chrysalis-ITS and Silicon Access Networks, Dana played key roles in the development and delivery of TDM switches, leading edge high performance network processors and security solutions in advanced technologies. Dana holds a Masters and Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
